Khvanchkara

Semi-sweet red wine of Khvanchkara stands for the sheer excellence of Georgian wines. Made from two grape varieties of Alexandrouli and Mujuretuli, grown in a controlled area of natural origin, Khvanchkara has a rich bouquet with the aroma of raspberries and cherries. We would recommend pairing with desserts and fruits.

Taster’s note

“Khvanchkara is an incredible wine that has unique and pure wine aromas. Its bright fruity, herbal, and mustard aromas are not drowned out by its sweetness; the sweetness is light and does not overwhelm the sensations, rather it shares the stage with its partners – the wine flavors. Khvanchkara goes well with salty cheeses and desserts, but can be perfectly consumed independently.”

Taster’s note

"Not excessively sweet, neither a thick wine, with a noble, rich bouquet of tones of apricot, pine juice, and basil. The taste is refreshing with a chalky tint. Tetra is a wonderful wine, both for independent consumption and as an accompaniment to fruits or light cheeses."

Tsinandali

Dry white wine Tsinandali is made from selected grape varieties Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane, grown in a controlled area of natural origin Tsinandali. The wine is aged in oak barrels, which gives it a unique harmony of taste and aroma. Recommended for fish dishes.

Taster’s note

“A rich bouquet of Tsinandali contains the sourness of a green apple, cream, and a light chalky flavor. The taste corresponds to the smell with a distinct spicy finish, which is most valuable when the wine is consumed with food. Tsinandali goes well with cheeses such as Gouda, Parmesan, or with salty cheeses whose pungent taste will be complemented by a rich wine aftertaste.”

Saperavi

Saperavi dry red wine is a classic of Georgian winemaking, made from grapes grown in eastern Georgia. Its rich bouquet traces the aroma of cherries and has a characteristic aftertaste. Recommended pairing with grilled meat.

Taster’s note

“Saperavi has a traditional rich pomegranate color and aroma with notes of oak bark, cedar incense, and fresh resin. This wine has an astonishing taste! At first, it is bright and fresh with acidity, which transforms into a more dry and grassy flavor. In the end its a harmonious combination of the first two tastes. Also, a light cherry shade is felt in the taste.”

Taster’s note

“Kindzmarauli has a rich aroma of raspberries, and while it also contains aromas that are characteristic of lighter wines, in Kindzmarauli they are richer and more vibrating. Herbal and slightly fruity tones can be traced in the taste. Kindzmarauli perfectly combines light sweetness and a piquant, barely noticeable bitterness.”
