LTD ALeksandreuli - Bugeuli winery

Founded in the early 90s, LTD Aleksandreuli is one of the first commercial wineries in the Racha region, and with an annual production of over 1,000,000 bottles, today it is the biggest as well.

The facility underwent a major renovation in 2019, thus introducing modern standards of Italian equipment to 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition.

LTD Aleksandreuli's vineyards stretch over seven acres of village Khvanchkara, a climatic microzone controlled by appellation, where the winemaker grows over 60% of the overall production of Aleksandreuli, Mujuretuli, and Tetra grapes.

The winemaker's other vineyards include 5 acres in village Tsinandali, an appellation-controlled area in the Kakheti region where Saperavi and Rkatsiteli grapes are grown, and an acre in the Lechkhumi region where Usakhelauri grapes are grown.

LTD Aleksanreuli's brand Bugeuli is widely known and respected in Eastern Europe and Japan. The brand entered the U.S. market in January 2021 through an exclusive partnership with Georgian Wine Imports.
